Joel Gourdin, MBA, CAIA^®

As Chief Investment Officer, Joel provides guidance to both the clients and the TAG team on topics of investment alignment, asset allocation and portfolio risk. Knowing the challenges of applying quantitative analysis, his mission is to make what is complex more digestible and enhance the investment experience of the end-client.

Joel joined the Transformational Advisory team from Mariner Wealth Advisors and Principal Financial Group prior to that, where he was Director of Portfolio Analytics among other roles. In this role, he developed an in-house, portfolio consulting program designed to apply forward-looking analysis to advisor portfolios in order to better address risk.
